Art is an important piece of my identity and how I chose to engage in an open dialog within the community. My work attempts to holistically bind, gender, feminism, and fetish. My interest is to push boundaries but not in interest of shock value. More to explore and celebrate sexuality using color and maybe a bit of humor to highlight spirituality found in eroticism through the work of solicitation.  The bare flesh is both vulnerable and a politically loaded subject especially in regards to the female body. The oddity of forms being anonymous yet enticing pulls my assiduity. Poses are collaboration between the model and myself. The flexibility of photography allows me to catch the immediacy and intimacy of the moment then provides sedulousness and time to transfer that idea to canvas. My aim is not to produce a replica of the photo but the moment or feeling translated through the sensuality of paint.
